What equipment do we need?

A laptop or phone for the speaker's side, either plugged into your sound desk or set near the microphone, and internet. Nothing is installed in the building, and your congregation uses the phones already in their pockets. If your desk has a headphone or line output, that is the best feed.

Does the congregation need an app?

Accepted Answer

No. They scan a QR code, choose a language, and listen in the browser. No download, no account, no name. Adding the code to the bulletin or a screen slide is the whole setup on their side.

Question 3

How many languages can run at once?

Accepted Answer

Every language you switch on runs in parallel, each with its own voice and captions. Your plan sets how many; most churches start with two or three and add one when a group actually arrives.

How many people can listen?

Accepted Answer

Listeners are not metered on the paid plans. Larger rooms are configured with you before the first service so we can make sure everything is ready.

What happens if the internet drops?

Accepted Answer

The speaker's stream reconnects on its own and listeners rejoin without doing anything; the transcript continues from the reconnection. A wired connection at the desk is steadier than the building's wifi, and it is the one thing worth arranging in advance.

Does it work with our livestream or presentation software?

It works with the audio: anything you can feed into a laptop. Direct plug-ins for ProPresenter, OBS or an RTMP stream are not built yet. If that is what you need for your setup, say so in the demo and we will tell you honestly where it stands.

How accurate is it, and can it make things up?

Accepted Answer

A glossary your team approves carries your names, scripture terms and phrasing into every translation, and a rolling correction pass fixes obvious slips in place. Answers and captions are designed to stay grounded in what was said and not to turn silence into words. Because the system uses AI, errors remain possible, and names, numbers and scripture references are the most likely places.

Where does our audio go, and is it used to train AI?

Sanctavo stores your recordings, transcripts and generated content on infrastructure in Frankfurt, Germany. Live audio and content may be processed by the AI providers and in the locations listed in our public sub-processor register. These providers do not use your service content to train their models. Source audio is off unless you turn it on, transcripts follow the retention window you choose, and a session with everything made from it can be erased in one action.

Which languages are supported?

Sixty-three today: fifty-nine arrive as a natural spoken voice and four as a plainer voice, all with captions alongside. Tell us the languages in your room and we will tell you how each one sounds before you decide.

What does the Sanctavo logo mean?

Accepted Answer

The octagon is an old shape in the church: eight sides for the eighth day, the day after the week is done and something new begins. It is the shape of baptisteries and font covers, the place where a person is welcomed in. Inside it, the open V is a voice: rising, reaching out, asking to be heard. And the small gold line at its heart is what happens when it is: the one sentence someone carries home on a Sunday, the word that landed and stayed. That is the whole of Sanctavo in a single drawing, a voice in a holy room, understood by everyone in it, and kept. You will see it drawn large behind the first words of this page.

Can we start online, or do we have to book the demo first?

Both doors are open. Most churches book the free demo first: we set up one of your own services with you and listen together. A church that already knows what it wants can start a plan online from the pricing table; you confirm your email, pay by card, and we still set everything up with you before the first service. Nothing runs, and nothing is charged, until it is ready.
